Traffic stop leads to drug charges for Paducah woman

A Paducah woman was jailed on drug charges after a traffic stop Thursday night.  

The McCracken County Sheriff's Depaartment said 63-year-old Shela D. Thacker was pulled over near Irvin Cobb and Brown Street for traffic violations.

Deputies searched the vehicle and located approximately 18 grams of crystal methamphetamine packaged for sale in multiple baggies, additional unused baggies, and a digital scale.

Charges against Thacker include possession of a controlled substance and no operator's license.  

Thacker was taken to the McCracken County Detention Center.
