A late-night golf cart ride in Calvert City landed three teens in jail.

According to Calvert City Police, the cart was spotted with three people on board. One of the individuals was standing on the rear platform yelling as they traveled the golf cart trail. Police stopped them and said that the teens were under the influence of alcohol. They also allegedly saw several empty beer cans and some that were unopened in the cart.

Calvert City Police arrested 18-year-old Solon Q. Peck of Calvert City. Peck was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Department assisted with the stop and arrested 18-year-old Levi Brown and 18-year-old Ethan Wathen, both of Calvert City. Both were charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.
