Three Missouri residents injured in Christian County accident

Three people were hospitalized following an early Thursday morning traffic accident on I 24 in Christian County.

The Christian County Sheriff's Office said a car operated by Jennifer Wolfe of Missouri was eastbound about three miles from the Pennyrile Prkway exit when it hydroplaned and hit a bridge, coming to a stop sideways in the road.

An eastbound tractor trailer then reportedly hit Wolfe's car,

Wolfe and two passengers, a five year old and three year old child, were taken to Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.

Investigators said the three year old was trapped in the car and had to be extricated.
