Thefts from vehicles on the rise in Calloway

Thefts from vehicles have been on the rise across the area and in one area of Calloway County in particular. 

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said that they have been getting reports of thefts in the Southwest Vista area. Deputies said that wallets and even firearms have been taken from vehicles. They suggest everyone lock their vehicles and not leave valuable items inside them. 

Anyone who sees someone or something suspicious should call 911 or local law enforcement.
