Tennessee man sentenced on a weapon charge

A Ripley, TN man was sentencrd to three years and a month in federal prison Monday.

44-year-old Nicholas Ray Starks received the sentence after being found in possession of a pistol in Hopkinsville on October 24,2021.

Starks was prohibited from possessing a firearm after a 2002 conviction for armed bank robbery in west Tennessee.
