Calloway crash claims life of Murray motorcyclist

A crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle claimed the life of a Murray motorcyclist.

The crash happened Sunday afternoon along KY 121 near Potts Road. According to the Calloway County Sheriff's Office, a motorcycle driven by 39-year-old James P. Davis of Murray is believed to have crossed the center line and collided with a car traveling in the opposite direction. 

Davis was located down an embankment. He reportedly passed away en route to the hospital.

There were no other injuries reported in the crash.

KY 121 was reopened at about 8:15 p.m. Sunday.
