Sunday crash claims a life in Calvert City

A crash on Sunday claimed a life in Calvert City.

The crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of US 62 and Oak Park Boulevard. Calvert City Police said that two vehicles collided at the intersection, and one of those vehicles was a motorcycle. According to JPsTraffic.com, an AirEvac helicopter was brought in for a hospital transport. One person involved died from their injuries.

No other details have been released by authorities. The crash is still under investigation.
