Stolen truck recovered, Paducah woman arrested

A Paducah woman was arrested Thursday while driving a stolen truck. 

Paducah Police were called just after 7am by a man reporting his truck had been stolen from a motel parking lot off Hinkleville Road. The man suspected a woman he had given a ride to on Wednesday evening.

Police spotted the truck about 20 minutes later in the parking lot of a motel on Joe Clifton Drive. The person the man suspected, 31-year-old Carrie F. Hernandez of Paducah, was driving the truck. 

Hernandez was charged with theft by unlawful taking and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
