Single-vehicle crash claims life of Marshall County woman 

A single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning claimed the life of a Marshall County woman.

Marshall County Sheriff's deputies responded to the crash that occurred at about 5:13 a.m. Tuesday near the 45-mile marker along I-69. Marshall County Coroner Kenny Pratt identified the victim as 32-year-old Jasmine McCormick. Investigators believe McCormick lost control in wet conditions. Her vehicle went off the right side of the road and came to rest after striking a tree. Pratt told West Kentucky Star that McCormick died on impact.

The mother of three was reportedly on her way to work in Calvert City.
