Search of home lands Paducah man behind bars

The search of a home landed a Paducah man in jail on  Wednesday.

Detectives assisted the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole with the search of a home owned by 30-year-old Decarda C. Key. Officials said Key was on supervision for a prior felony conviction.

During the search, authorities reportedly found a firearm, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Being a convicted felon, Key is unable to lawfully own a gun.

He was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of marijuana.
