The McCracken County Office of Emergency Management conducted tornado damage assessments on Saturday in the Fremont community.
They were joined by multiple emergency management agencies from across the region and by the Red Cross.
Their initial assessment of Fremont found that a total of 68 homes were damaged and 4 homes were destroyed due to the tornado.
Damage assessments in other parts of the county are still being conducted.
Those with a home or business that was damaged from the severe weather on March 3rd can contact the Office of Emergency Management at 270-448-1530.
The Office of Emergency Management said people are still urged to avoid the Fremont area as crews work to restore services, remove debris, and repair homes.
