Remains found in Paducah identified as Bowling Green woman

The remains located off Tennessee Street in Paducah back in December have been identified.

McCracken County Coroner Amanda Melton released a statement on Monday that said the remains are those of a 35-year-old woman from Bowling Green. Melton said her office worked together with Paducah Police and the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the woman’s identity.

An earlier autopsy revealed there was no foul play in the case, therefore a name was not released.

The remains were discovered on December 4th by contractors working in the area of Tennessee Street and South 13th Street.
