Probation and Parole home visit in Murray becomes drug and firearm arrests

A home visit by Calloway County Sheriff's deputies and Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole officers in Murray turned into three arrests plus gun and drug charges. 

Deputies along with officers from Probation and Parole went to the home of 37-year-old Joshua Morris of Murray at about 9:30 p.m. on Thursday. Morris was inside the Kirkwood Drive home along with 56-year-old Dianna Lutz of Murray. A handgun was reportedly discovered during the visit, which Morris and Lutz are prohibited from possessing as both are convicted felons. Morris and Lutz were arrested on the firearms charge.

Also in the home was 25-year-old Kyla Houston of Murray. Deputies reportedly located methamphetamine in her possession. She was arrested, as well.

All three were taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
