The City of Paducah's compost facility has reopened to the public. It had been closed for the routine grinding of brush since early May.

The regular schedule for the Public Works Department's compost facility is Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. It accepts brush, leaves, and yard debris from Paducah residents at no charge. There is a fee for contractors and those living outside the city limits to drop off yard debris.

Compost, wood chip compost, and raw wood chips are available for purchase by the bucketload. To inquire about product availability, contact the Public Works Department at 270-444-85 11.
