Paducah police searching for alleged teen car thief

Paducah Police are looking for a teen suspected of stealing a pair of vehicles over the weekend.

Officers identified the suspect as 18-year-old Justus K. White of Paducah.

On Sunday, a woman called police from Park Avenue to report that her wallet, cash, and bank card were stolen from her vehicle. She said she alerted by her bank that someone had tried to use her card at the Kroger gas station on Park Avenue.

During their investigation, police discovered a vehicle that had been reported stolen to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department. The vehicle was reportedly stuck in a nearby yard.

Later that day, another call about a stolen vehicle came from Clay Street. A woman told police her SUV was stolen from her driveway. The stolen SUV was found later on Sunday near 9th and Ohio Streets.

There are warrants for White charging him with theft by unlawful taking of a vehicle, theft by unlawful taking from a vehicle, and fraudulent use of a credit card. 

Anyone with information as to White's whereabouts is asked to call Paducah Police or leave a tip with West Kentucky Crime Stoppers.
