Paducah Police have arrested a robbery suspect following an altercation on Tuesday.

Police said 20-year-old Tariq T. Griffin of West Paducah turned himself in just after 8 p.m. Thursday. Griffin was wanted in connection to an incident on Tuesday that ended with a shot fired.

Police reported that a Madison Street man told them that Griffin entered his home and attacked him. The man told officers that he had a gun in his pocket and as Griffin allegedly tried to take it away, it went off, damaging a piece of furniture in the home.

The man also told police that Griffin took the gun and fled with three other men in a minivan.

Griffin has been charged with robbery, wanton endangerment, and criminal mischief.
