One dead, two injured in two vehicle crash in Hopkinsville

One person is dead and two others were injured Thursday morning in a fiery two vehicle crash on Greenville Road outside of Hopkinsville.

Hopkinsville police say the mishap occured near the intersection of Greenville Road and Kentucky 1682 around 10:15 am.

One of the vehicles was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived on the scene.

An adult female is reported dead and a child was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville for treatment while a second adult female was treated at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Names have not been released pending notification of relatives.
