One charged, two injured after early April crash

An early April crash in Lyon County left a Madisonville man facing charges and sent two juveniles to the hospital.

Deputies responded to the two-vehicle crash in Kuttawa on April 1, at the intersection of US 62 West and Days Inn Drive.

Officers said 20-year-old Jatorion L. Civils was traveling on US 62 when a truck driven by 53-year-old Rhonda Abdulla changed lanes abruptly.

Civils attempted to avoid a collision with Abdulla, which caused him to collide with another truck driven by 41-year-old Matthew Daniel of Nashville.

Two of Civils' juvenile passengers were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Civils was charged with possession of marijuana, failure to provide proof of insurance, and no license.
