Murray woman dies after struck by car; suspect in custody

A Murray woman died after being struck by a car Saturday night and a suspect is in custody.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said 51-year-old Amy Bell was struck by a vehicle driven by 50-year-old Forrest Grabarczyk, also of Murray, at a Navy Drive address.

Bell was taken to Murray Calloway County Hospital where she died from her injuries.

Grabarczyk left the scene, then later returned and was arrested.  Charges include assault, wanton endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
