Murray woman accused of headbutting sheriff's deputy

A Murray woman was arrested after allegedly headbutting a deputy on Sunday.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to a home on Lancaster Road. Deputies made contact with 31-year-old Annamarie Turner who they said was acting in an erratic manner. 

Deputies said Turner headbutted a deputy while they were attempting to take her into custody.

Turner was charged with assault, resisting arrest and menacing.
