Murray collision injures one

The Murray Police Department responded to a collision at the intersection of South 15th and Sycamore streets on Tuesday.

Police said a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Kelsey Hutchinson of Murray. She said she was traveling westbound on Sycamore Street, when another vehicle pulled out in front of her path from South 15th Street. Hutchinson said she was unable to avoid a collision.  

Officers also interviewed 73-year-old Brenda Stallion of Murray, who said she had stopped on South 15th Street at Sycamore and did not see any oncoming traffic. She said when she turned on to Sycamore, her vehicle was struck by another vehicle.  

Emergency Medical Services transported an occupant of Hutchinson’s vehicle to the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
