Motorcycle crash Wednesday morning sent one to the hospital

A motorcycle crash in McCracken County just before 6 a.m. sent one person to the hospital.

The crash occurred just after 5:30 a.m. near Cairo Road and Maxon Road. Deputies said that 40-year-old Harold Collins of Paducah ran off the road while trying to avoid a collision. Collins was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office reminds drivers to be on the lookout for motorcycles as more are on the roads during the summer.
