Metropolis pair arrested on theft charges

A theft investigation in Metropolis on Sunday sent an Illinois pair to jail.

Officers responded to the complaint at a business on East 5th Street where they said a vending machine had been broken into.

After reviewing surveillance footage, the suspects were identified as 25-year-old Chad M. Click and 38-year-old Casandra D. Quimbly, both of Metropolis.

Click and Quimbly were located that day and taken to the Massac County jail on theft charges.
