Authorities are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins that occurred Thursday morning in the Reidland area.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Department said they received multiple complaints about items being stolen from unlocked vehicles in the early morning hours of Thursday. The department shared a photo of one of the suspects taken from security footage and is asking for the public's help in identifying the individual.
The Livingston County Sheriff's Office reported a large number of similar complaints in the Ledbetter area on Thursday, as well. They said that unlocked vehicles were the target there, too, and reminded everyone to lock their vehicles and not to valuables in them.
McCracken County Sheriff Ryan Norman told West Kentucky Star that the images shared by his department are specific to the incidents that took place in McCracken County. He said they would investigate any connections to the Livingston County complaints because of the relative proximity.
Anyone with information as to the identity of the suspect in the photos should contact the McCracken County Sheriff's Department or leave an anonymous tip through West Kentucky Crime Stoppers.
