Marion woman jailed on variety of charges

A Marion woman is charged with promoting contraband and drug possession after being arrested on a warrant over the weekend.

WPKY reports Princeton Police as saying 49-year-old Shannon Miller was taken into custody Saturday afternoon on an active Caldwell County bench warrant from a 2023 misdemeanor case.

While Miller was being booked into the Caldwell County Jail, she denied possessing any illicit drugs to officers and jail staff.  Police said however a small baggie of meth was found under Miller's purse lining.

Miller was charged additionally with possession of a controlled substance and promoting contraband.
