List of street closures for BBQ on the River

The Paducah Police Department has released the list of streets that will be closed for this year's BBQ on the River. 
 
Police said in an effort to keep everyone safe during the event, several downtown streets will be closed for the festival. 

Here are the planned closures:

- The left lane of Broadway ends at Stella’s guiding cars to right lane through foot of Broadway. 
- On Friday, all of Broadway from 3rd St. to Water St.; Water St./Maiden Alley/2nd St. from Broadway to Kentucky Ave. will be closed until Saturday September 27th at 6 A.M. when it will revert back to the previous left lane closure. 
- On Sunday September 28th, at 6 P.M., Broadway will reopen, while the others will reopen over the following two days. 

Police said they encourage drivers to plan ahead, use alternate routes, allow extra time when traveling through downtown, and be mindful of the increase in pedestrian traffic during the festival.
