Kentucky State Police Post 1 to participate in 'Coffee with a Trooper' event

Kentucky State Police Post 1 will participate in the 'Coffee with a Trooper' event this week, Tuesday, October 1st through Friday, October 4th.

This event is in conjunction with the national 'Coffee with a Cop' effort, an annual event since 2011, that has helped build trust between members of law enforcement and the public.

KSP Post 1 will participate by touring their 1978 Ford cruiser to four different locations in the post area.

The locations and times are:

Tuesday, October 1st, 3:30-5:30 pm at Future Grounds, 1201 Payne Street in Murray
Wednesday, October 2nd, 7:30-10:30 am at Cafe Au Latte, 1011 Paris Road in Mayfield
Thursday, October 3rd, 7:30-9:30 am at Buzz Donut and Coffee, 4790 Village Square Drive in Paducah
Friday, October 4th, 9:00-11:00 am at Our Daily Bread, 101 Newman Drive in Eddyville

The event helps law enforcement agencies to connect with the public while discussing community issues over a cup of coffee.
