Keiler Park playground expansion begins Friday

Paducah work crews will begin another playground expansion project at Keiler Park on Friday.

The newest playground area is designed for children ages 2 through 5 to include a play structure with slides, swings, and a rider. 

The project is expected to take about four weeks to complete. The existing playground will remain open, with the expansion area separated by temporary fencing.

Last year, new playground equipment was installed for kids 5 to 12, along with a new rubber safety surface. 

The three-acre Keiler Park is located at 2900 Broadway.
