Circuit Court Judge James T. "Jamie" Jameson, accused of seven counts of judicial misconduct, was found guilty on all seven charges on Friday.

The order, handed down from the Judicial Conduct Commission, stated that Jameson had engaged in conduct that violated Rules of the Judicial Canons. The Commission ordered Jameson removed from the bench for the balance of this term. The commission also stated that his "unfitness" disqualifies him from seeking re-election.

The commission further said that they believe they have a legal case to prevent Jameson from serving in any future judicial capacity.

Jameson has ten days to appeal the ruling to the Kentucky Supreme Court, and a post on his campaign Facebook page said he will. The post also asked for votes on Tuesday.

Jameson is being challenged for the 42nd Judicial Circuit in Marshall and Calloway Counties by Andrea Moore.
