The McCracken County Sheriff's Office announced that with the public's help, they have identified a suspect in a hit-and-run collision that left a pedestrian seriously injured.
Deputies were called Thursday to the intersection of Roy Lee Road and Old US Highway 60 after a vehicle struck a pedestrian and fled from the scene. The victim was flown to an out-of-state hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was a white 2013 to 2015 Honda Accord and could be missing the passenger front wheel liner. The vehicle might also have damage to the passenger front panel or fender as well.
The vehicle reportedly traveled east on US 60 toward Paducah and is believed to have turned onto McCracken Boulevard.
The Sheriff's Department thanked the public for their assistance. They did not release a name or any other information as yet.
