The I-24 Business Park in Trigg County is receiving state funding to continue its development.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear announced Thursday the facility will receive $905,000 in state funding through the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority.

It's part of $5.3 million for three Kentucky Product Development Initiative projects in four counties.

WKDZ reported the Cadiz-Trigg County Industrial Development Authority will use the award to provide direct access to 57 acres of the I-24 Business Park.

A new access road will connect the acreage to the existing park, providing access into the middle of the development.

The park is being developed as a gateway to Land Between the Lakes and as an opportunity for continued industrial growth.
