Hopkins County child injured in Thanksgiving Day accident in Christian County

A vehicle vs. deer accident early Thanksgiving Day left a Hopkins County child injured.

WKDZ reported the Christian County Sheriff's Office as stating the accident occured on Interstate 169 around 5:15 am when a truck operated by Taylor Firestone was southbound near the 14 mile marker when it collided with a deer.

Firestone was not injured however the child was taken to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment.
