Hickory man injured in crash on I-69

A Hickory man was injured in a single-vehicle crash on I-69 Saturday afternoon.

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office to Interstate 69 near the 21-mile marker.  They determined that the car driven by 18-year-old Alayn Sanchez hydroplaned on the wet road and struck the guardrail.  

Sanchez had to be extricated from his vehicle by the Mayfield Fire Department.  

He was transported to Mercy Health in Paducah for treatment of his injuries.  

Sanchez was last reported to be in stable condition.
