Western Kentucky gas prices surge over the past week

Gas prices made a big surge this week in west central Kentucky.

Triple A's Gas Report on Monday found the average price this week is $3.17 per gallon, up 11 cents from last week's average. Paducah's average price this week is $3.06 per gallon.

Triple A's national average is $3.44.
