Gas prices decrease in West Central Kentucky

Triple A reports gas prices in west central Kentucky dropped seven cents this week to an average of $272.

Paducah's average price is $2.70 this week while the lowest average was in Owensboro at $2.63.

The national average is three cents higher this week to $3.10.  

Despite lower demand, slightly higher oil prices caused the increase.
