A person involved in a hit and run accident in Graves County Sunday afternoon was apprehended a short time after the incident in Tennessee.
The Graves County Sheriff's Office said the Tennessee Highway Patrol stopped the vehicle for speeding in Weakley County, TN.
The operator, 44-year-old Amanda J. Golightly of Fulton was arrested on charges of DUI and speeding.
Graves County authorities will follow up with additional charges after the hit and run around 5 pm Sunday on Wingo Road which caused property damage and several head of cattle getting loose in the area.
