A person involved in a hit-and-run accident in Graves County Sunday afternoon was apprehended a short time after the incident in Tennessee.
The Graves County Sheriff's Office said the Tennessee Highway Patrol stopped the vehicle for speeding in Weakley County.
The operator, 44-year-old Amanda J. Golightly of Fulton was arrested on charges of DUI and speeding.
Graves County authorities will follow up with additional charges after the hit-and-run on Wingo Road caused property damage and resulted in several head of cattle getting loose.
