Former McCracken jail employee charged with supplying drugs to inmate

A former McCracken County Jail employee was arrested on drug charges.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said 28 year old Gage Walker of Mayfield was the subject of an investigation in which Walker brought narcotics into the jail and supplied them to an inmate.

Walker admitted to bringing narcotics into the jail on numerous occasions in exhange for money from outside sources.

Walker was lodged in the Marshall County Jail and charged with promoting contraband.
