The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is closing KY 58 at the Obion Creek Bridge in Hickman County today.
The bridge is expected to remain closed for about 3 weeks.
The bridge halfway between Clinton and Columbus had been restricted to a 3-ton load limit with one-lane traffic since January 21, when inspectors found deterioration of floor beams on the structure.
