Duquoin man arrested in connection to fatal crash from March

A Duquoin man was arrested Wednesday and charged in connection to a fatal crash that occurred back in March.

Illinois State Police and Duquoin Police arrested 23-year-old Dylan S. Weeks in connection with the death of a juvenile who was killed in a head-on crash on March 17th. Weeks, from Duquoin, has been charged with multiple counts of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol. All the charges are felonies. 

The crash occurred along US 51 south of Gasplant Road when Weeks' vehicle hit the other vehicle head-on at what was described as a high rate of speed. A Juvenile in the other vehicle died in the crash. 

Following the investigation, a warrant was issued for Weeks' arrest. Weeks was picked up on Wednesday at his home and was taken to the Perry County Jail.
