Dorena-Hickman Ferry reopened following brief closure

The Dorena-Hickman Ferry is back in operation.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 1 office said Monday the ferry is back in operation after being closed for mechanical issues.

The ferry is operating on its summer schedule. The last run from Kentucky is at 6:15 pm and last run from Missouri is at 6:30 pm. The Dorena-Hickman Ferry accepts cash only.
