US 68 reopened in Marshall County after crash damages power pole

A crash involving a truck and a power pole blocked US 68 in Marshall County Monday morning.

The crash occurred at US 68 and Pioneer Lane near the Marshall/McCracken County Line. A pole was broken in the crash and brought wires down.

Jackson Purchase Energy replaced the pole and US 68 was closed for several hours between Sharpe School Road and Rosebower Church Road. 479 customers lost power.

The roadway reopened just after 9 a.m.
