Lyon County correctional officer arrested on sex offenses

A Lyon County correctional officer was arrested Thursday on sex offenses.

On Tuesday, Kentucky State Police were contacted by the Western Kentucky Correctional Complex for a report of a sexual relationship between an inmate and a correctional officer.

Authorities said Jonathan Hackney of Marion, Kentucky, was arrested and charged with rape and sexual abuse.

He was taken to the Crittenden County jail.
