Columbia, TN woman arrested on numerous charges in Murray

A Columbia, TN woman was arrested Friday afternoon after a caller indicated she was driving recklessly on US 641 North.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said they attempted to pull over the vehicle operated by 57-year-old Valarie A. Loatwall after it was spotted swerving several times.

Loatwall refused to pull over until deputies boxed the vehicle in, at which point the driver continued to resist arrest. It was apparent sher was under the influence of intoxicants. Additionally, she had an outstanding arrest warrant from Christian County.

She was subsequently taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
