The City of Paducah is accepting applications for the Homeless Services Grant, a new funding opportunity.

The deadline is June 1 for nonprofit agencies with their primary office located within the Paducah city limits to apply for city funding. As determined during strategic planning sessions held in February, the Paducah Board of Commissioners is prioritizing support for human and social services.

The Homeless Services Grant is an opportunity for nonprofits to express how they provide direct services that support and meet the basic needs of the homeless population within the city limits of Paducah. Applicant organizations must already have a history of providing these services in Paducah.

The deadline for eligible nonprofit agencies within the Paducah city limits to apply for funding consideration is June 1, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. The maximum funding that may be requested is $50,000. Those that receive funding will be expected to have made significant progress with both their project and expenditures by the end of calendar year 2025. Each agency must be a 501(c)(3) organization.

Agencies that serve the homeless population and have either received or applied for support through the City’s annual Grant-in-Aid funding program are eligible to apply for the Homeless Services Grant.

Questions can be directed to Projects and Grants Coordinator Hope Reasons or 270-444-8509.
