A traffic stop in Caldwell County on Sunday led to the arrest of two people on drug charges.

Deputies stopped the vehicle on I-24 for an alleged traffic violation. A search of the car reportedly uncovered meth, leading to the arrest of 23-year-old Thomas Tyler of Tennessee and 26-year-old Justin Thomas of Lafayette.

Both Tyler and Thomas were charged with possession of methamphetamine. Thomas was additionally charged with tampering with physical evidence.

They were both taken to the Caldwell County jail.
