Cairo man arrested in Carlisle County after weekend pursuit

A Cairo, IL man was arrested after a pursuit in Carlisle County Saturday night.

The Carlisle County Sheriff's Office received a request for assistance from the Ballard County Sheriff's Office regarding a vehicle pursuit on KY 286 involving a vehicle with Illinois license plates.

As the vehicle entered the Gage community, it was disabled by spike strips on KY 286 near Wilson Road.

However, the suspect, 21 year old Terrell Jones fled on foot. He was later found hiding in a field by a drone about 4 am Sunday morning.

Jones was charged with fleeing or evading police, speeding, wanton endangerment, resisting arrest and traffic offenses.
