WKDZ reports that Cadiz Police said they were notified by a hospital that a nine-month-old child tested positive for THC and methamphetamine.
Police say the mother, 25-year-old Shytricia Saez stated she invited someone to help with the child because she was sick. That person was reportedly known to use drugs, and claimed the child fell off of a bed while Saez was cooking.
Saez was arrested and charged with criminal abuse. The other person has not been arrested.
