A Brookport man was arrested Tuesday in connection to a series of burglaries at Expressway Car Wash on Park Avenue.
Paducah Police detectives were reportedly able to identify 24-year-old Matthew C. Harris using surveillance video. Harris is believed to have been with 27-year-old Nathan Cruse, who was charged in the case last week, during break-ins at the car wash on February 8th and 20th. Evidence suggests Harris may have been the source of the crowbar found in Cruse's vehicle.
Paducah Police worked with the Massac County Sheriff's Office to serve warrants charging Harris with two counts of burglary. Harris waived extradition and was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
Cruse was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and possession of a controlled substance.
