Benton woman jailed on drug charges in Calloway County

A Benton woman was arrested Monday night following a Calloway County traffic stop.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said 42-year-old Angel Rhodes was a passenger in a vehicle stopped on US 641 North.

Rhodes was found to be in possession of illict drugs.  She was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and prescription not in a proper container.

Rhodes was lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
