Benton man charged with manslaughter in fentanyl-overdose death

A Benton man has been charged in a 2021 overdose death related to alleged trafficking.

Narcotics detectives with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office have gotten an indictment warrant for 21-year-old Jack Hendrickson in connection to the 2021 death of Hunter Treas. Detectives alleged that Hendrickson gave fentanyl to Treas, which led to his death.

Hendrickson is charged with 2nd-degree manslaughter and trafficking in fentanyl.
